Creating Beautiful Wedding Cakes & Occasion Cakes to Brisbane & Gold Coast. Peta’s Elegant Cakes first commenced trading as Peta’s Cake Creations in 2013, and in July 2018 the name was changed to reflect the style of cake that I wanted to provide.
I started by making cupcakes and occasion cakes and running cupcake decorating classes from home. I soon found a passion for Elegant and Exquisite cake, Cakes that were very creative & had a lot of attention to fine detail. I loved the challenge of life like flowers and the prettiness that flowers can bring to a design, the soft textures of lace and fine piping. This evolved and became the direction and style of cakes I most enjoyed doing. My passion then became a growing business that has steadily grown.
I love to tailor a cake design to reflect your individual personality and event. I pride myself on paying attention to the finer details such as the presentation, design and flavour that are all contributing factors to an amazing memorable cake. I work closely with clients to ensure every detail is considered and I offer a friendly approachable service.
I am fortunate to be doing something that full fills me creatively and allows me to have a healthy work life balance, I love what I do and enjoy the challenges that this occupation brings. I am fortunate to meet a variety of people from various backgrounds and am honoured that they allow me to create their occasion cakes. That sheer look of gratefulness and thankfulness upon receiving their cake is what drives me to keep continuing to bake, design, and decorate cakes
